Abirwood Birmans Tom's Cat Trees We now offer cat furniture! Many times people have come to our home to pick up their new kittens and have asked about the many pieces of cat furniture that we have for our cats. Due to the many requests, we are now offering quality cat "trees" for sale with our kittens. Tom has designed a wide variety of sizes and styles to meet the needs of one kitty or a houseful. There are pieces to blend with any decor and space allotment. Why do cats need their own furniture?
We found pet store cat furniture to be too flimsy for our cats. They were frightened by wobbly furniture with tiny bases that rocked when they ran and jumped onto it. Some designs were too awkward for the cats to navigate easily to the top. Some had such small perches that our cats easily rolled off. All of Tom's Trees have bases made from two by twelves. They are covered in carpet that wraps onto the bottom, so that they won't leave scratch marks on bare floors when moved. Posts are attached firmly with six inch lag screws. Posts can be left bare or covered with carpet for a more formal room. Some of Tom's Trees are made from real tree trunks and branches for a more natural, one-of-a-kind look. One or more posts may be sisal wrapped to entice your cat to scratch. Neutral carpet is standard on Tom's Trees, but special orders are welcome to accommodate any color scheme. Perches are curved to hug your kitty and give him the secure feeling that he loves. Standard models have three or four perches, but special orders are welcome. Optional tubes are carpeted inside and outside for a professional look. This cat tree has four perches and is completely carpet wrapped. This cat tree has four perches. The posts are sassafras.
